According to security clearance customer service, my TS clearance for the Foreign Service was adjudicated on 17 July. I was also told that my file was given to/or should have been given to HR to start the final suitability review, on 17 July, even though I have a restrictions briefing that is in the process of being accomplished.
Does HR process final suitability reviews when a restrictions briefing is being accomplished? According to security customer service, a restrictions briefing should not hold up a final suitability review.

We start the Final Suitability Review when we receive the file from Diplomatic Security. The length of time for the review can vary. In many instances it is completed within a few weeks. Other times, the review panel may need to obtain more information before making a final determination. In such cases, the process will take longer.
