If orientation starts on Mondays. I am guessing Per Diem will only be authorized starting that Monday. Candidates from out side the region would need a couple of days to adjust and settle before their first day of work. Does State cover those days?

Normally, when initially hired, the per diem will actually start on Saturday. So, you can move in to Oakwood or claim your hotel or apartment costs starting that Saturday. If you want to arrive any earlier, it is generally on your own dime.

Hi, Soon,
I recommend that you check with your Registrar regarding when per diem will start.

I hate to disagree with a green check mark, but humor IS listed in the Thirteen Dimensions under "Working With Others", and I quote:
• Working With Others. To interact in a constructive, cooperative, and harmonious manner; to work effectively as a team player; to establish positive relationships and gain the confidence of others; to use humor as appropriate.
This is straight from State's web site- what am I missing?
