Is there any way I can change which language I put on my application. I did not realize that there were specific tests for the different dialects of Arabic, and I put that I speak standard Arabic.
This would not be an issue but for the fact that I was told that if you put standard Arabic, they might throw any dialect at you. It would be disastrous if I got on the phone for that interview and the tester was Moroccan when I speak Syrian.

I'm not sure who "told" you. If you look at our list of languages on this website you will see that we only list Egyptian Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic. Once you submit your application there is no way to edit it.

Since BEX no longer gives credit in the QEP process for FSI tested languages, and since anyone can apply for a language telephone test once they have passed the Oral Assessment, putting the wrong Arabic on the application will not disadvantage you in any degree.
