Is there a way you can publicize a list of cities in order of which BEX examination will take place?

This information would be invaluable to assist those of us who travel often in how to make our travel arrangements.

We have a lot of applications to down load and review and until that is completed, we will not be determining the field testing schedule. Those candidates who will be moving forward will be contacted when we are ready to assess in the city they chose in the online.

We will be assessing 6 to 9 months, possibly longer.

Please understand we work very diligently within this bureau trying to accomodate our applicant/candidates. Keep in mind that their was a very large volume that applied for this very competitive position.

There is no set schedule yet for the various BEX testing site(s) and even if there were everything is randomly completed. By that I mean we are still reviewing those documents received to be sure an applicant who did meet the cut-score provided what was necessary and ensure he/she is qualified to move forward before scheduling commences.

NOTICE: This office puts a lot of effort into scheduling the BEX and lining up our Examiners and Subject Matter Experts for BEX. Please have the courtesy to call or

DS Recruiting office,

thank you for your prompt responses. I guess I was hoping to see the schedule due to the fact that some of the invites have already came out to certain applicants. My guess would be that those invites went out to applicants in DC area, since perhaps, it makes the scheduling a bit easier, having them interviewed in DoS "home town".

Those moving forward in the cities they chose will be notified when we are ready to schedule those candidates. We will be assessing for 9 months, maybe longer depending on the final number to be assessed.

If you are set to move on, when we contact you, you will have the option to be assessed in the city you chose in the online or the DC Metro area (Rosslyn, VA).
