I describe myself as the ideal Foreign Service Officer. A jack of all trades and master of none. You can be a Foreign Service Officer with almost any background. It’s not like going to medical school where you have to take all the prerequisites. Foreign Service has the most diverse group of individuals I have ever met. I was afraid when I entered the Foreign Service that I would not fit in because of whatever reason; I thought I would be different.

Despite my disability I have been able to open a world of opportunities for foreign students to study in the United States.
